First carols by can­dle­light for Coal­stoun Lakes area

CAROLS by can­dle­light will be sung in the Coal­stoun Lakes Hall on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 24.

Or­gan­ised by busi­ness owner Pi­lar Murphy, the night will get un­der way at 6.30pm.

Mrs Murphy said this was the first time carols had been held in the com­mu­nity.

“I hope ev­ery­one gets into the spirit of Christ­mas and comes along,” she said.

“Al­ready I have Vi Rack­e­mann play­ing the pi­ano and the district school­child­ren in­volved, as well as my own chil­dren.”

Mrs Murphy said she was keen to hear from any­one else who would like to be in­volved on the night.

“Ad­mis­sion is only $1 and will go to­wards the up­keep of the hall here in Coal­stoun Lakes,” she said.

Those at­tend­ing the event are asked to bring a plate to share for sup­per as well as their own drinks. ■ Con­tact Mrs Murphy on 4127 5144.
