CON­SIS­TENCY Sin­gles fi­nal re­sulted in a win for Bron­wyn Tor­rens. 131 pts de­feat­ing Jean Jasch 109. As the game sug­gests, con­sis­tent bowls were played by both ladies. Re­sults of the ladies B Grade Sin­gles Semi-fi­nals were N Devenish 25 d B Low­ton 10 and J Smart 25 d H Price 15. Con­grat­u­la­tions Norma Devenish on be­com­ing the B Grade Sin­gles cham­pion for 2012. Norma de­feated Ju­lianne Smart af­ter a hard fought match held on Nov 28. Ju­lianne held a handy lead in the first half of the game 15-3, how­ever Norma came back in the sec­ond half to over­take her and gain the tro­phy 2519. Well done ladies, par­tic­u­larly given the hot weather we’ve had. The Monto ladies had their Christ­mas party on Wed­nes­day. BIN­JOUR
