FUNDRAISING was lots of fun for hot Mundubbera children recently when they attended a Blue Light Disco at the town pool in aid of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

Cooling off in the pool while exercising to the lively music and supporting a worthy cause was a great way to spend a hot Friday evening.

Mundubbera’s Blue Light group is a non-profit organisation run solely by parents and community members.

The committee thanked everyone who made 2012 discos successful.

“The disco for Daniel raised $400 for the foundation and we thank all the volunteers for keeping everyone safe in the water, Ros Mason for donating the pool and her time and Mundubbera Butchery for the sausages,” one of the Blue Light committee members Lisa Whelan said.

FUN FOR ALL: Tallulah Adames, Josephine Kassulke, Natalie Kassulke, Sophie Zipf, Matthew Zipf, Hayden Crofts, Daisy Dennis, (front) Shelby Emmerton, Roanna Trott and Tiana White had heaps of fun at the Blue Light disco for Daniel held at the Mundubbera Pool.
