Hit­ting the right notes

THERE is ex­cite­ment in the air at Coal­stoun Lakes as the small com­mu­nity gets ready to hold its first carols by can­dle­light.

Or­gan­ised by Pi­lar Murphy, the carols will be held in the Coal­stoun Lakes Hall on Mon­day, De­cem­ber 24. The event will get un­der way at 6.30pm. Mrs Murphy said it was the first time carols had been held in the com­mu­nity.

She hoped ev­ery­one would get into the Christ­mas spirit and come along.

Ad­mis­sion is $1 and will go to­wards the up­keep of the hall.

Those at­tend­ing are asked to bring a plate to share for sup­per as well as their own drinks. ■ Any­one in­ter­ested in be­ing part of the night and per­form­ing can con­tact Mrs Murphy on 4127 5144.
