The ABC Open: Your Best Blue Skies and Sunsets tutorial at the Gayndah Art Gallery attracted enthusiasts from Biggenden and Mundubbera keen to improve their skills behind the lens.
Tutor Brad Marsellos said that to capture a sunset, it was important to make sure your horizons were level, and to frame the photo in an interesting way.
Another tip was to make use of our Burnett River and try to get reflection shots of the clouds above.
A tripod will help keep your image sharp when there is low light, but it’s not essential in getting a fantastic image.
With Christmas so close it’s a great time to take out the camera and see how creative you can get.
