DALLARNIL State School recognised its achievers with the presentation of awards after the school concert.
Next year’s Prep students also received certificates.
Gifts were presented to Lea Kotevski, known as “Miss K”, who has been transferred to Hervey Bay after three years at Dallarnil, along with Julie Waples, who has been the administration officer for eight years.
Geoff Parker presented design and technology certificates to Year 7 students Grace Sarent, Aaron Kelly and Emily Spry.
Known as the “three musketeers”, the trio has been farewelled from the school.
The Year 7 students have been together since they started preschool at Biggenden.
“We have had some fantastic times during these past seven years,” principal Andrea Kelly said.
The QRFS essay competition was won by Zoe McMeekin in Year 5, Britney Spry in Year 6 and Emily Spry in Year 7.
Dallarnil RF rep Max Pearce said all the students were winners.
“If people took notice ofwhat the students wrote, then it would make our jobs a lot easier,” he said.
Grace Sargent won the Neil Delly Memorial Award.
