All enjoy BBQ
RIDGEHAVEN Retirement Complex in Monto recently benefited from the Queensland Gas Company Sustainable Communities Fund.
An outdoor barbecue area was opened on September 5 but it is only more recently that the area has had more use. So far, residents such as 90year-old Dolly Rice are very happy. “I recently had a family barbecue,” she said. “It was very nice and I would definitely recommend it to others.”
The staff and residents of Ridgehaven said they were grateful to QGC for making the improvement to the complex.
GRAND OPENING: Loye Gardiner (facility manager), Vicki Ketchell (QGC representative) and Tracey Pattie (clinical nurse manager) at the opening of Ridgehaven's barbecue area.
