Aladdin is landing
THIS Sunday, Biggenden residents will be entertained when the production Aladdin comes to town.
This is the Maryborough Players’ first performance of Aladdin.
Set in Old Baghdad and adding a twist to the traditional tale, this pantomime will be full of psychedelic colour and ’60s hippy flare.
Aladdin is a cheeky young street trader, whose impulsive behaviour leads him into trouble, when he cons the magician, who enslaves him.
There is a genie, of course, as well as theft, abduction, fraud, love, friendship and in the tradition of all timeless fables, heroes and a happy ending.
This is a colourful show tied together with music, dancing, wonderful backdrops and lots of laughter.
The show will start at 1pm at Memorial Hall.
