Keeping cool in Monto pool
THE Monto pool was the coolest place to be on another scorcher of a day yesterday with a top of 39 degrees.
And temperatures are again expected to soar to 40 degrees at the weekend, and 41 on Monday.
There were fast-track lessons for the kids while proud parents and grandparents watched their rug rats being happy little Vegemites.
But the number one goal was to escape the heat.
Make the most of the scorchers because before we know it we’ll be rugging up against that famous North Burnett deep freeze.
