LOCAL talent is now on display at the Mundubbera Regional Art Gallery.

The exhibit is called Collectively Gayndah and features 10 local artists.

Mayor DonWaugh officially opened the exhibition on January 12 and the artwork will be on display until March 14.

CrWaugh said itwas great to see the region admiring the talents of its residents.

“The art that comes out of this region is spectacular,” CrWaugh said.

“They paint what they see and it’s fantastic.”

The local artists are well known for producing beautiful paintings, drawings and even jewellery.

The exhibition is a showcase for the Gayndah artists, with pieces from Susanne Capewell, Edwy Dent, Jessie Dent, Carmel Hafner, Hayley Kirk, Karen Kirk, Wendy Kirk, Julie McLeod, Robin Miller and Joy Spry.
