Twelve community members, none of them necessarily artists, have each been given a blank canvas to transform into a painting before early March.
Along with Cr Wendt, the other good sports include Helen Walker, Edwina Randall, Don Waugh, Elaine Ung, Anne marie McGilvery, Chris Seidner, Avelino DeNobrega, Greg Hafner, Andrew Goldie, Wendy Lutvey, and Rob Piccolo.
Each artist will be provided with a mentor if they wish and CrWendt turned to the Biggenden Art Group for extra help.
He said he knew with his schedule he had to get in and get the work completed early.
“The art group has been fantastic,” he said.
“I looked at something iconic and settled on the old Biggenden Butter Factory building.”
CrWendt’s masterpiece should be able to be viewed in a windo win Biggenden Place in February.
The artworks will all be auctioned at a wine and cheese night on March 6 at the Gayndah Art Gallery.
