Mundubbera butcher chasing sausage crown
MUNDUBBERA Butchering Co’s Tim and Robyn Duggan will be far from home on February 9 when their traditional Australian pork sausages compete with the nation’s best for the title of Australia’s Sausage King in Perth.
Entrants are judged on a range of criteria includ- ing appearance, aroma, texture and flavour.
Six national crowns will be awarded, in traditional Australian, traditional Australian pork, poultry, Australian lamb/ open class, continental and gourmet/open class.
Each year the competition attracts about 500 entrants.
