VETER­ANS nine-hole stroke com­pe­ti­tion had 15 play­ers. Win­ner was Di Baker with 27½ nett and run­ner-up was Jan Bourke with 29 nett. The pin­shot on 5 went to Bev Em­mer­ton and Jean Hav­lik won the putting com­pe­ti­tion.

Thurs­day’s Sporters nine-hole stroke had 28 play­ers. Ja­son McCosker won with 24 ½ nett, Rita Alsemgeest was first run­ner-up with 25 nett and Trevor Slack was sec­ond run­ner-up with 25 nett. Pin­shots; 3/12 Bev Em­mer­ton, 5/14 Rob Ran­dall, 7/ 16 Ja­son McCosker. Ja­son McCosker won putting comp with 12 putts.

Satur­day’s week­end sum­mer nine-hole sta­ble­ford, with 15 golfers, was the last of the sum­mer comp days. Phill Dun­can won with a score of 23 points. Jim Ed­wards was the run­ner-up with 20 points. Pin­shots; 1/10 Di Baker, 3/12 Trevor Slack, 5/ 14 Me­gan Roth, 78/16 Phill Dun­can.

The Jan­uary monthly medal 18-hole event will take place Jan­uary 27 with a hit off time of 12.30pm.

The monthly meet­ing will take place at 7.30pm Mon­day. An open­ing day 18-hole two-ball am­brose wel­comes play­ers on Fe­bru­ary 9 with a 12.30pm hit-off.
