New gear put to test at come and try day
NEW members were targeted by the North Burnett Field Archers at the weekend.
The come and try day at Burnett River Pistol Club saw a great turnout of kids and adults trying their skills with a bow and arrow.
Families from Gayndah and Mundubbera braved the heat and enjoyed learning new skills.
The come and try day marked the first time the club had used equipment donated by Gayndah Freemasons.
Club organiser Pauleen Dakin said the day was an outstanding success and encouraged all of the visiting archers to come back.
The next North Burnett Field Archers meet will take place on February 2.
For more information, contact Dakin after 3pm on 4140 8599.
BULLSEYE: Tor Petersen, Lachlan George and Hayley George enjoy the come and try day.
