MONTO State School has recognised some of its potential leaders.

The year seven group does not have many boys so it is girl power to lead the student body.

The positions of school and house captains were filled through written nominations, followed by speeches presented to the school.

The candidates were voted for by staff and years four through to seven.

One of the school captains KristalWolff was proud to speak for Monto State School.

“Its a great school, so set plenty of goals and enjoy your time,” she said.

The badges were presented by Mr Don Jensen a school patron, the total enrolment of the school is 124 with a total of 18 in year seven.
