Preps on the ball

MONOGORILBY State School early childhood teacher Terry Caudwell is thrilled to be teaching enthusiastic Prep students who have returned ready to learn in term two.

“We have an excited bunch of young Preps in our class this year,” Mr Caudwell said.

“Theywere keen and eager to get started as soon as they entered our school gate back in January.

“So far they have been learning about how to share and play fairly and participate as members of a bigger group.

“Academically, they have started, or continued, to develop understandings about sounds and letters, counting, the world around them and even gaining some skill in tennis along the way too.

“It is wonderful to be teaching such an enthusiastic group and I’m sure they will have a fantastic year at Monogorilby.”
