Meet Orange Fest Queens
ORANGE Festival is just around the corner so it’s time to meet our Queens.
Each week leading up to the Gayndah Orange Festival, Central and North Burnett Times will introduce our readers to the Festival Queen entrants.
There are 13 talented young ladies who have bravely entered for a chance to wear the crown.
Electing a Queen is a proud tradition dating back to the first ever Orange Festival Queen crowned in 1957, Margaret Yappa.
Since then, every two years a Queen has been crowned that epitomises the spirit of the Orange Festival, and the spirit of the region.
This week we meet Kahla Henke, Ellie Turner and Emma Kenendy.
