Woodgate lures an­glers

THE Biggenden Am­a­teur Fish­ing Club could not have asked for a bet­ter week­end weather wise for their monthly fish­ing out­ing at Woodgate Beach at the week­end.

Al­though many mem­bers were un­lucky to catch a fish, oth­ers were much luck­ier.

TheKelly fam­ily came home with a bag full of fish.

Other lucky fish­er­men in­cluded Lofty Wendt, Sue Bust, Brad Doyle, John Rokesky and Chevy Datlen.

The club fin­ished the week­end with a num­ber of the mem­bers hav­ing break­fast at theWoodgate Beach Shel­ters on the beach front.

The club’s next out­ing will be held at Baf­fle Creek on June 29-30.

The club will be host­ing its An­nual Ju­nior Kids Fish­ing Day this Satur­day at Par­adise Dam.
