Age no learning limit
THREE Biggenden residents know age is no limit when it comes to learning.
Etuvate Seru, Carol Miller and Jill Ledwidge said they had really enjoyed getting to know their computers after undertaking a basic computer skills course through Burnett Adult Tutoring Society.
Co-ordinator and tutor Merry-Anne Brennan presented the trio with certificates, after they had completed the 10-week course at the 10 Caroline St business.
“It is not just about teaching them about Word documents, but it’s more getting them to be comfortable with their computers,” Mrs Brennan said.
“If there is a need, we can create a course, as we have the necessary books and equipment to do so.”
Anyone interested in finding out more, the centre is open Mondays from morning tea time.

The group is also holding an open day at the Caroline St centre on Saturday, June 29, 7am–2pm and already 16 market stalls have booked to show their wares at the event.
