THE MONTO Can­cer Coun­cil is play­ing its part in the fight against can­cer.

The branch will hold its Aus­tralia’s Big­gest Morn­ing Tea on May 23 at Cafe De­li­cious from 9-11am.

Branch pres­i­dent Kelli El­liott said pre-or­dered morn­ing teas would be de­liv­ered to busi­nesses and the sup­port from the town had been good.

“We wish to thank busi­nesses for their sup­port, with high num­bers al­ready or­dered,” Ms El­liott said.

“There will be pro­gres­sive raf­fles dur­ing the day and we would ap­pre­ci­ate book­ings be­ing made in ad­vance.

“Cook­ing do­na­tions are greatly ap­pre­ci­ated, along with de­liv­ery vol­un­teers.

“Any­one want­ing to have their own morn­ing tea, please con­tact Cafe De­li­cious.”
