We continue our look at Orange Festival Queen entrants
A FULL-time salesperson and property manager, Caitlin Ouston has played a vital role for Gayndah Real Estate for six-and-ahalf years.
Caitlin is the secretary of the Gayndah Chamber of Commerce and has been actively involved in lifting the profile of the group over the past 12 months.
Caitlin’s main hobby is horseriding, but she also enjoys cooking, reading, helping organise events and learning new things.
As a part of fundraising for the Charity Queen, Caitlin has hosted a successful Progressive Dinner, “hundreds boards”, a Cadbury fundraising drive and a Mother’s Day bus trip to the Eumundi Markets and Belmondo’s Fresh Food Market.
LAUREN Emmerton loves coming back to her home town of Gayndah.
The 20-year-old is busy studying at university, but always makes time to head back home whenever she has some free time.
But it’s a busy time for Lauren, as she is finishing her final year of Bachelor of Business.
Her major is Event Management and Tourism, a field Lauren is passionate about.
As well as studying her degree, Lauren works part-time as a customer service representative and supervisor for the Curran Group.
Lauren enjoys spending time socialising and shopping with her friends and family.
JASMINE Camps is an artist and a scholar.
Jasmine is always a friendly face for students at Gayndah State School, where she teaches Year 1 and Year 2.
The 23-year-old loves to teach and enjoys creating art.
If it is artistic, then Jasmine gets involved.
Whether drawing, painting, pottery or just creating things, Jasmine loves it.
Sometimes the art even extends to the kitchen, with creative cooking a passion of hers when time permits.
Jasmine has the travel bug and loves to see the sights and sounds of other cultures around the world.
Always active, she enjoys bushwalking, tennis, exploring and just keeping fit.
