Snags benefit region

Central and North Burnett Times - - LOCAL NEWS -

THE Biggenden State School Student Council last term decided to fundraise for those unfortunate enough to have lost property in the January floods.

Their idea of assisting was to hold a sausage sizzle each Friday for students.

Recently, from their efforts, $700 covering three cheques was presented to Biggenden RSL Sub-Branch, BlazeAid and North Burnett Flood Appeal.

Biggenden Butchery, which supported the fundraiser, was presented with a framed certificate and gift as a thank you.
