MONTO Cat­tle & Coun­try yarded 260 head for their fort­nightly fat and store sale. Shane and Helen Moss­man, Yal­warra Ubobo con­signed 40 brah­man eight-tooth Bul­locks weigh­ing 536–650kg and sold 131–136.2 c/kg. The heavy bul­locks re­turned $890. Bayly Graz­ing Co, Than­g­ool sold 520kg droughtie cross cows to 116c/kg or $605. Roy Mar­bach’s No 2 brah­man heifers 420kg sold to $530 or 126c/kg. Char­bray cross No 2 steers 390kg sold to 133c/kg or $520. DC Wy­atte sold red brah­man No 2 steers for 140c/kg or $495. And 300kg weaner euro cross steers, Acc Spelta Graz­ing sold to 150c/kg or $450. P & A Kirk­wood, Nestor­vale sold qual­ity weaner braford steers for 168c/kg or $365. The Kerr fam­ily, Ban­croft sold char­bray steers 230kg to 162c/kg or $375. Spade Pas­toral con­signed high grade brah­man steers 200kg to re­turn $355. Matt and Rowena Clarke’s No 2 droughtie heifers 320kg sold to 130c/kg or $420. Spleta Graz­ing’s euro cross weaner heifers re­turned $355 at 125c/kg aver­age. Neville Moss­man, El­l­is­field, Ubobo sold 40 No 2 and 3 droughtie brah­man cross weaner heifers from 122 to 132c/kg, to aver­age 128 or $290. Next fat and store sale Wed­nes­day, May 29, fol­lowed by the an­nual store cat­tle showand sale on Wed­nes­day, June 12, at 10am, with 500 head booked.
