THE chips flew as world cham­pion ax­e­man Danny Staib took out the A-grade Cham­pi­onship wood­chop at the Biggenden Show on Sun­day.

All chop­ping from three sec­onds, the Coal­stoun Lakes ax­e­man won from Darcy Din­gle, Phil Camp­bell and Lind­say Din­gle.
