BIN­JOUR ONMAY5 at the Bur­nett Bowls Club, two Bin­jour Bowls Club ju­niors played in the Ju­nior/ Se­nior Day, where they had to skip the day. In the 14-18 years sec­tion, Pat Dar­ling­ton and Tyson Meyer won 2 out of the 3 games, which placed them 6th over­all. In the un­der-14 sec­tion, Aileen and Brittanny Wi­ley won all 3 games, plac­ing them over­all win­ners.

MUN­DUB­BERA THE first games of bowls since the Jan­uary floods were played on Mother’s Day, May 12. GAYN­DAH TUES­DAY Vet­er­ans: 14 golfers at­tended. The win­ner was John Mul­laly with a score of 28 ½ net. Carolyn Sed­don was run­ner-up with 30 ½ net. Pin­shot no 5 went to Lind­say Baker and the putting com­pe­ti­tion was won by Carolyn Sed­don. The May Monthly Medal took place on Satur­day with 18 play­ers. The win­ner was Jeremy Zahl with a score of 66 nett, run­ner-up was Bev Em­mer­ton with 71 nett, sec­ond run­ner-up was David Zahl with 71 nett. Pin­shots; 5/14 Stephen Zahl, Ladies Gayle Bennet, 3/12 Rob Ran­dall, 7/16 Jeremy Zahl. Up­com­ing events; three ball am­brose on Satur­day, May 25. The nine-hole event will raise money for Gayn­dah Hos­pi­tal Or­ange Fes­ti­val Queen en­trant Kahla Henke. Reg­is­ter at 10am for an 11am start.
