AT our monthly meeting on Monday night we were notified that BlazeAid were winding up their operations in the Monto district and would be pulling up stumps on June 10.
We feel it is only proper that we should publicly thank BlazeAid for the assistance they have given to those affected by the flooding.
What they have achieved has been of tremendous benefit in more ways than one.
Thanks must also go to local individuals and organisations who assisted in many ways to make the whole operation the success it became.
People can show their gratitude by supporting the farewell luncheon on Sunday, June 2.
