Cadet program returns
UNDER the direction of PCYC, the Emergency Services Cadet Program is back on track and Biggenden youth couldn’t be happier.
After a public meeting, applications for the 19 cadets and 18 adult leaders are being processed.
Biggenden PCYC SES Cadet Unit co-ordinator Moira Thompson said uniforms would have the new PCYC badge and should be available to order soon.
“The next stage is to gauge what stock remains in Biggenden and draw up a budget,” Mrs Thompson said. “At present an agreement to use the Biggenden SES shed is being negotiated between PCYC and North Burnett Regional Council.

Training nights will be Tuesdays 6pm-8pm.

Local Cadet Advisory Committee features reps of Biggenden SES, the North Burnett SES controller, Biggenden Police, Fire Brigade and North Burnett Regional Council.
