Journalist Journalist

Central and North Burnett Times - - IT'S ALL NEW! -

I have been living in Gayndah since August 2012 and it has been a great to get to know the town and its people so well during this time. Moving from Brisbane to the Burnett is what some call a ‘tree change’. And it’s been a decision I have not regretted. Our paper is part of the community and I want to write about the issues that residents are passionate about. I love hearing stories and getting local feedback. If you know of a great yarn that more people should hear about, drop in to my office for a chat or give me a call.

You could call me the senior journalist, based on the number of years I have been employed. After almost 27 years I feel like part of the furniture. Change is part of everyday life and today's re-design of your paper is something to be excited about. It is your paper and, as a journalist, I feel privileged to bring the news of our community to your homes. In my spare time I enjoy sewing. Putting my foot on the treadle gets rid of any stressful moments from my day.
