MONTO’S crime problem continued last week.
On Thursday night two males, aged 61 and 27, broke into a residence in Kelvin St. They stole a dog and caused damage to the property.
The men also hit a residence in Boyle St, damaging five panels of a french door.
Police arrested both men and they will appear in Biloela Local Court in June.
In a separate incident on Saturday, members of the public alerted police to the presence of a 23-year-old male and a 14-year-old juvenile on the grounds of Monto State School.
The male will appear in Monto court in July while the juvenile was dealt with under the Juvenile Justice Act.
Monto Police said no public access was permitted on school grounds unless authorised.
On Sunday, Monto Police intercepted a 61-year-old Eidsvold male on a motor bike on the Burnett Hwy. The man was travelling at 154kph and unlicensed. He received a $1600 fine.
