“It’s good to play at that kind of level, as compared to a normal game,” he said. “I had a couple of good tackles, a couple of good scoots from half.”
Elsebach is a product of the Central Burnett Brumbies and has played in every division.
Now an East Bundaberg player, he was scouted for his talents by his favourite club, the Brisbane Broncos.
“Last year, I was part of Broncos Elite Player Development Squad,” Elsebach said.
The squad is for under 15 players and had four special training programs during the year.
Like most Gayndah footy players, Elsebach is looking forward to Queensland winning another the State of Origin series.
“I think we will win two games to one,” he said.
“I reckon it will be pretty close this year.”
