Field day en­cour­ages ru­ral peo­ple to con­nect

MUN­DUB­BERA Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion is con­tin­u­ing to de­velop pro­grams to as­sist com­mu­nity mem­bers fol­low­ing the Jan­uary floods.

On June 19 a field day will be held at 90 Tay­lors Rd, Boynewood for all pri­mary pro­duc­ers.

The day will fea­ture a pre­sen­ta­tion by a sup­plier of ru­ral prod­ucts.

Up­com­ing events in­clude Lo­cal Blokes - Lo­cal An­swers evenings for men and their part­ners at Biggenden and Coal­stoun Lakes.

It is great to see the in­ter­est in the dance classes in Mun­dub­bera as a joint pro­ject with the As­so­ci­a­tion and the Mun­dub­bera Mul­tipur­pose Health Ser­vice.

More than 30 chil­dren have en­rolled and the As­so­ci­a­tion en­cour­ages more to en­gage.

The Mun­dub­bera Gar­den Group en­cour­ages per­sons with an in­ter­est in gar­den­ing to keep Septem­ber 21 free as the group will be hold­ing their first Gar­den Fest in Mun­dub­bera.

The group plans to make this an an­nual event.

On June 22 the Eidsvold Gar­den Group will hold its Win­ter Sol­stice Din­ner at the Star Ho­tel in Eidsvold and all mem­bers and friends are in­vited to at­tend.
