A HAT-TRICK in front of Ben Aho’s home crowd clinched the Presidents Cup for the Brumbies.

The Mundubbera player scored three second half tries in an absorbing encounter to help the Under 16 Central Burnett Brumbies win 30-28 over Cherbourg.

Five early tries to Cherbourg had the visitors leading 22-4 at half time.

But the Brumbies found consistency in the second half to close the gap.

Aho charged over on the full-time buzzer to score the winning points.

Brumbies lock forward Aaron Graham was player of the match.

Undefeated Murgon continued their fine form in the U14’s Presidents Cup, defeating the Brumbies 48-10.

Brumbies had good form in short bursts.

But, with several Wide Bay representative players in the Murgon team, they proved too strong for the Central Burnett boys.

Kingaroy defeated Cherbourg 12-4 in the Under 12s.
