Monto proves it’s on tar­get

MONTO shoot­ers Be­van Goschnick and Joe Koch won the F Stan­dard scope class A and B grade re­spec­tively in the Bund­aberg Bur­nett Ri­fle Club’s Open Prize meet­ing at the week­end.

The tour­na­ment at­tracted a to­tal field of 24 shoot­ers. Be­van was one of two in his di­vi­sion and Joe was one of five.

All shoot­ers com­pete un­der the same con­di­tions.

The tour­na­ment in­volved daily range prizes for 300 yards, 500 yards and dou­ble 600 yards. F Stan­dard in­volves a full bore ri­fle on ei­ther .308, .223 or .243 cal­i­bre with a tele­scopic sight.

The Bund­aberg Bur­nett Ri­fle Club was par­tic­u­larly happy with the level of sup­port and par­tic­i­pa­tion in this event and wishes to thank all in­volved.

Both men are highly ex­pe­ri­enced in the sport and Be­van is a long term mem­ber of the Monto club.
