Children lead way
C&K has play-based curriculum
C&K Gayndah Community Kindergarten is excited to announce enrolments have opened for 2014.
Director Marni Telford said this means families can lock in a place now for their child to get the best start to their education.
Marni, who is a university degree qualified teacher, runs the kindergarten program which operates on a five-day a fortnight basis.
“Here at C&K Gayndah we run a high-quality kindergarten program that is child-centred,” Mrs Telford said.
“We have an amazing outdoor space where the children love to play and we run a full day indoor/outdoor program allowing the children to make choices about where they want to play.
“I encourage families to enrol now to ensure their child can take part in the C&K experience.
“We use C&K Building waterfalls to create a living and learning community that values your child as a competent and capable learner and welcomes parents as a partner in their learning.
“Building waterfalls play-based curriculum allows your child to experience many opportunities to explore, solve problems, develop friendships, imagine, use their creativity and extend their capabilities in language, literacy and numeracy,” Mrs Telford said.
“Culturally sensitive and inclusive practices will ensure your child’s talents and abilities are developed to the fullest.”
The C&K Building waterfalls early childhood curriculum is the only government approved early childhood curriculum in Australia and meets the Early Years Learning Framework.
