Queensland Day display amazes
BROOWEENA Historical Museum played host to district school children and a car rally for Queensland Day on Thursday.
Children from Brooweena, Woolooga and Dallarnil were thrilled to try corn cracking, chapping the hay, separating the milk and then making butter.
But most popular was the cross cut sawing.
Clients and staff of Biggenden and Gayndah Blue Care Centres were amazed at the extensive displays.
Participants in the CQ Fun Rally stopped in for lunch before making their way to Mt Perry.
BACK THEN: Dallarnil State School student Aeddain White liked the look of this vintage typewriter.
