ANYONE embarking on a fitness regime knows the first step is always the hardest but a new, low-intensity aerobics and gym workout aims to make getting started easy.

Delivered by Healthy North Burnett volunteer David Holleran, EasyStart Exercise classes are designed for those just starting out, resuming an exercise regime or more mature persons seeking a gentle exercise routine.

The hour sessions started last week at the Mundubbera gym and will run for four weeks every Thursday at 9.30am.

EasyStart Exercise classes are being delivered through the Healthy North Burnett program, a region-wide initiative of North Burnett Regional Council.

The Mundubbera Health Service is conducting free vital sign and health testing during the program, allowing participants to track their progress.
