THE fishing is still really tough at the dam with only a few reports of fish being caught in the timbered sections on live bait. There are still red claw being caught.

Boondooma Dam

FISHING is still tough, not much apart from the odd golden on lures. Dark spinnerbaits seem to be the go. Saltwater yabbies are going well with bait and the odd fish on a worm also.

Somerset Dam

BASS are being caught on slow rolled soft plastics and blades at Pelican Point, Queen St and the start of the timber at Kirkleagh. Red claw are being caught with rockmelon the standout as bait.
