Bush spirit lives

Central and North Burnett Times - - AROUND TOWN - Noel Thompson

THE bush spirit is alive and well in the North Burnett and it was all on display over the past few weeks.

Eidsvold’s Bush Spirit Festival had the community involved in horsemanship, heritage and great company.

When a community can get together and have a day of celebration of the bush it’s a reminder of why we live in the North Burnett and say it with pride.

For me it is a feeling of belonging and a feeling of safety in the knowledge Eidsvold people will always stand together.

In the same vein, Gayndah’s Orange Festival saw the community have a weekend of fun in a festive atmosphere celebrating not only the citrus industry, but the fact living in Gayndah is something to be proud of.

Congratulations and thank you to the organisers – your efforts were appreciated by all.
