Artists wanted for Brushes of the Bur­nett

ARTISTS of the Bur­nett are in­vited to show­case their work at a new ex­hibit.

Gayn­dah Art Gallery will dis­play a tal­ented con­tin­gent of lo­cal artists at their Brushes of the Bur­nett show­case.

Carmel Hafner from the gallery said the ex­hibit of­fered artists an op­por­tu­nity to have their work seen by a larger au­di­ence.

“This ex­hi­bi­tion will show­case the tal­ent of the great num­ber of artists re­sid­ing in the Bur­nett area,” she said.

“All artists in the North and South Bur­nett are en­cour­aged to en­ter this ex­hi­bi­tion.”

The new ex­hibit is part of Gayn­dah Art Gallery’s on­go­ing ded­i­ca­tion in sup­port­ing the re­gions artists.

Re­cently the gallery un­earthed a new crop of artists at its first birth­day cel­e­bra­tions.

Twelve lo­cal iden­ti­ties were men­tored by sea­soned artists to pro­duce their own mas­ter­piece.

Artists may sub­mit their work for Brushes of the Bur­nett on any medium and in any for­mat.

Artists will be limited to sub­mit­ting two pieces.
