GARTHOWEN Warrior, weighing in at 744kg and shown by the Kinbacher family of Boompa, was named junior champion at the Rockhampton Show.

He was described by judge Brett McCamley as having a beautiful muscle pattern, the longest of all the champions.

Ross Kinbacher said Warrior had some tough competition from the drought master bull of the Fleming family since winning the supreme champion award at the Biggenden Show.

“But overall Warrior has had a successful show season also winning junior champion bull at Maryborough while at Gin Gin he was reserve senior champion bull,” he said.

“All up he has received three junior champions, one reserve junior champion, two reserve senior champions, one grand champion bull and one supreme champion.

“Warrior’s last show will be at the Tiaro Field Day and then he and two other bulls will be going to the annual Rockhampton Brahman Week sale in October.”
