ONE hundred and fifty competitors took part in the 13 events at the Teebar Recovery Rodeo on Saturday.

It was a credit to the organising committee that the event went ahead after the grounds were completely covered by water, two metres in some places, following the January 26 floods.

With the fencing washed away, the committee erected panels for the rodeo arena and patrons were asked to bring along their own chairs.

Patrons came out in force to support the rodeo action and weren’t left disappointed. All proceeds for the event will go towards rebuilding of infrastructure.

The campdraft could not take place after too many cattle producers were affected by the floods to lend animals.

READY TO GO: Tamara Buczma, who finished third in the barrels, with cousin Teagan Bechly before they competed.

There was a packed arena to watch the rodeo action at Teebar on Saturday.

This rider didn't make time in one of the rodeo events at Teebar.
