POWERED UP: Riders at Manar Park will test their skills at the Enduro Challenge this weekend.
RIDERS will show their grit at Manar Park this weekend.
The AGL Rescue Helicopter Manar Park Enduro Loop Challenge will push riders to their limits, in the name of charity.
The four loops offer a range of difficulties suitable for all ages, abilities and all bikes and quads.
The loop two is only for experienced riders, it’s very extreme
Manar Park’s Robyn Laidler said the event was about having fun and raising money for a good cause.
“All the registration fees will be donated to the AGL Rescue Helicopter,” she said.
“And it’s not a race event; it’s basically testing your abilities of you and your bike.
“The loop two is only for experienced riders, it’s very extreme.”
Each rider will receive a certificate and photo with the number of laps they have completed.
“We’re hoping to make it an annual event, so riders can come next year and see what they did last time and try to better it.”
The Enduro Challenge is a social event with 300 to 500 riders expected to take part.
A sausage sizzle will raise money for AGL over the weekend, with all of the sausages donated by Cam and Sue’s Quality Meats.
Registration costs $10 per bike or quad. Phone 4161 2188.
