THE Monto and Dis­trict Pis­tol Club meets on the third Satur­day of the month.

The club has been op­er­at­ing for al­most 25 years and the mem­ber­ship is a about 20 peo­ple.

Usu­ally be­tween 10 – 14 peo­ple ar­rive for a shoot.

A day at the club is di­vided into the morn­ing for se­ri­ous com­pe­ti­tion and the af­ter­noon for vis­i­tors to try their hand.

This is an af­ford­able club with an­nual mem­ber­ship of $90 and no weapons li­cence re­quired un­less gun own­er­ship is sought.

Vis­i­tors are al­lowed three free shoots be­fore de­cid­ing if they want to join.

The club en­cour­ages re­spon­si­ble weapons us­age and is al­ways look­ing for new mem­bers.
