Biggenden, Eidsvold, Monto and Mt Perry have started to see the roll out of small playground upgrades. These upgrades were approved by Council as part of the 2013/2014 Capital Budget. As part of its maintenance regime, Council Parks are inspected yearly and works are undertaken on these playgrounds as funds permit. The injection of capital funds has allowed for the following work to be undertaken: • Installation of toddler equipment and fencing in Biggenden Lions

Park; • Installation of a net and slide tower and a carousel with

rubberised softfall in Eidsvold Apex Park; • Replacement of rubberised softfall in Memorial Park Monto; • Refurbishment of the carousel including the installation of rubberised softfall and replacement of the shade sail in Memorial Park Mt Perry. The upgrades commenced with the removal of some equipment last week and will be completed with the installation of new equipment this week. Council hopes that these replacement pieces will give hours of enjoyment.
