Car­ing for pets

MONTO Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment Coun­cil will host the RSPCA Ed­u­ca­tion Mo­bile Unit van at the Monto Show. It is an in­ter­ac­tive dis­play on how to look af­ter pets.

Va­ri­ety con­cert

RE­HEARSALS are un­der­way for the pop­u­lar Biggen­den Ma­sonic Lodge va­ri­ety con­cert be­ing held in the Me­mo­rial Hall on Satur­day, April 26. This an­nual fundraiser last year ben­e­fited the Flood Ap­peal.

Artists on TV

NORTH Bur­nett artists Sue Leder­hose, Theresa May and Adri­enne Wil­liams will each fea­ture in an episode of TV4 ME’s Colour in Your Life. Tune in on Sun­days at 8pm.

Show sched­ules

BIGGEN­DEN Show sched­ules are now avail­able at var­i­ous businesses around the town. A new ad­di­tion in the home man­u­fac­ture sec­tion is classes for choco­late ring cake and car­rot cake.

Put Pen to Paper

THE theme for the po­etry com­pe­ti­tion at the Biggen­den Show is the Cen­te­nary of Aus­tralian Red Cross. There are classes for all ages. Ev­ery­one is en­cour­aged to get in­volved.

Dog jump­ing

FOR the first time in many years, the Biggen­den Show So­ci­ety has dog jump­ing back on its Satur­day night pro­gram. If you think you have a dog worth en­ter­ing, then give the so­ci­ety a call.
