Falls of three to six inches of rain helped steady numbers.
Processor rates remained the same, but prime heifers were stronger.
Cattle were drawn from Eidsvold, Monto and Harrami districts.
Bulls sold from 100c/kg to top at 143c/kg.
Tom and Sandra Clarke sold droughtmaster bullocks 622kg for 161c/kg or $1005.
SM Schimke sold droughtmaster trade steers to 170c/kg or $830.
Bill and Kath Dow sold belmont red bullocks 612kg to 158c/kg.
Ian Gitsham sold grain assisted brahman and santa trade steers to 163c/kg.
Paul and Mia Francis yarded droughtie cross cows to return 128c/kg or $618.
Tom and Sandra Clarke’s droughtmaster cows sold to 130c/kg or $670.
Harry Ball consigned brahman cows to realise $570 or 125c/kg.
SM Schimke sold droughtmaster cross trade heifers 420kg to 164c/kg or $692.
JD and EJ Muirhead sold two-tooth brahman heifers for 164c/kg or $630 and four tooths to 128c/kg.
Odd single heifers sold from 160c to 170c/kg.
Jason Barnard consigned a run of droughtie charbray cross No 2 and 3 steers.
The No 2 steers sold to 167c/kg and 170c/kg or $670, while the No 3 about 300kg sold from 142c to 163c/kg.
Glenda Dahtler sold brangus No 3 steers 280kg for $405 and then sold 340kg droughtmaster No 3 heifers to 151c/kg or $512.
John and Peg James sold brangus No 3 heifers to $495 or 150c/kg.
Gordon Brian’s charolais weaner heifers sold for $495 or 157c/kg.
Andrew and Tracey Currie sold brangus and charbray No 2 and 3 heifers for 135c/kg and 145c/kg. Jason Barnard’s hereford cross heifers sold to 140c/kg or $310.
