HIGH TEA FUN
IT’S always been about more than tea and scones for the Queensland Country Women’s Association.
But last week on the Southern Downs they were more than happy to celebrate with a high tea as the Condamine Valley Warwick branch turned 90. The branch was one of the first in the state and continues to play a vital role lobbying for health and education improvements for rural and regional families.
QCWA state president Robyn McFarlane was one of the guest speakers at the celebrations and spoke about the need to embrace the future.
