THIS year marks the start of the An­zac Cen­te­nary. Take time to pause and com­mem­o­rate those who fought and de­fined the An­zac Spirit at a lo­cal ser­vice.

2 Grand Open­ing

Satur­day, April 26

WORKS of art will be on dis­play at the Grand Ho­tel for the in­au­gu­ral Grand Ho­tel Art Com­pe­ti­tion. Head down from 6pm for the judg­ing and grand open­ing.

3 Fol­low the ball

Satur­day, April 26

DON the team colours and cheer as Gayn­dah hosts A-grade rugby league. Gayn­dah Gla­di­a­tors v Nanango Stags, Mun­dub­bera Tigers v Cher­bourg Hor­nets, Theodore Roost­ers v Wondai Wolves.

4 Char­ity con­cert

Satur­day, April 26

COME along to the Biggen­den Me­mo­rial Hall for a night of en­ter­tain­ment. Biggen­den Ma­sonic Lodge or­gan­ised the funds to pur­chase equip­ment for Biggen­den Hospi­tal. Sausage siz­zle at 6pm.

5 Songs of Praise

Sun­day, April 27

SONGS of Praise for all de­nom­i­na­tions will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gayn­dah from 7pm. Favourite hymns, no ser­mon, fol­lowed by a cuppa. All wel­come.

RE­MEM­BER THEM: Pay your re­spects to the war fallen at the re­gion's An­zac Day ser­vices.
