STATE parliament is investigating effective rail transport of agriculture and livestock.
GrainX Australia CEO Chris Hood believes “farmers must return to the days where they have some control over the supply chain beyond the farm gate.”
Mr Hood wants commercial companies to operate and own rail-based supply chains, in parallel with Aurizon. Bring it on! Aurizon and coal should not have the monopoly on rail freight.
