WORKING together at the Monto Show on Saturday will be nothing out of the ordinary for runner-up Miss Showgirl Cassie Dorries and Miss Personality Shannon Kerle.

“When Cassie first moved to Monto two years ago I looked after her, and ever since then we have barely had a moment apart,” Shannon said while laughing.

The two best friends already work together at the Monto IGA and live together. The pair said they were most looking forward to the rodeo, and seeing the community come together for this eagerly anticipated event.

“I’m a country girl and this was another great opportunity for me to get involved,” Cassie said.

“It’s a chance for us to give something back to Monto because we both love living here,” Shannon said.

Cassie will also be co-ordinating campdraft and horse showing competitions during her already hectic day.
